About Sugarlips Cakery

Sugarlips Cakery is owned by award-winning cake designer, wife, and mother of three, Melodie MacAulay, of Chandler, Arizona. Melodie discovered her love for cake artistry as a high school student, when she took a part-time job decorating cookies and cakes at a small Chicago-area bakery. Melodie’s combined love of art and sweets grew over the years into Sugarlips Cakery, where she provides fun, beautiful, and tasty cakes, cookies, and more for folks all over the valley and beyond!

Sugarlips is named for Melodie’s oldest daughter, who, as an infant, was affectionately called “Sugarlips” by her Auntie. Now, that’s sweet!
